Day Mode

Day mode gives the person an overview of the day in a chronological order. The activities can be organized in a fixed order or flexibly, which makes the list function as a list of activity offers.

Week Mode

The weekly schedule shows the week's activities and contributes to predictability. It is easy to see which activities have been carried out in previous days. If desired, the days of the week can be colour-coded with your own colours. (Sundays will appear as the first day in the week in the US)

Visual countdown timer

A visual countdown contributes to predictability and is particularly suitable for activities that do not have a specific  end point. Brushing teeth, cooking time or screen/game time are examples of activities where this function is often used.

Multiple choice

Facilitating choices is one of several ways to promote user involvement in the e-plan. By clicking on an option, the activity is automatically added to the plan. Multiple choice are often used to select food and activities, but can also be combined with other features such as symbol marking, FaceTime, or URL.

Activity chains

"Many people utilize visual support to carry out daily activities or to master new tasks at home, school, or work. By designing individual activity chains with an tailored amount and type of support, the e-plan can contribute to genuine self-management and active participation in one's own life."

Checklists

Checklists can be a smart way to remember everything that needs to go in a bag, shopping basket or find certain things before an activity can begin. Checklists have contributed tomany becoming safer and more independent .

Decline activities

Option to refuse/say no to activities can be a good way of facilitating participation in one's own everyday life. The function can be available on all, none or selected activities.

Colored frames

Color coding of activities is an effective way of categorizing activities or conveying information about the characteristics of activities. Must-/can tasks (cf. behavior agreements), independent/with assistance, inside/outside are examples of the use of color coding.

Activity notes

Activity notes provide the opportunity to add supplementary text to each individual activity. This can be information for e-plan users such as social stories or information for service providers that ensure procedure integrity and predictable services.

Alarm/reminder

Like other calendars, e-plan also has the option of sending reminders/alarms for specific tasks or activities. The alarm leads directly to the activity for which the alarm has been set.

Digital clock

There is always quick access to a simple digital clock, with time, day of the week, date and time of day. The clock also functions well as a screen saver where any tap on the screen leads back to the plan.

Tidslås

Enkelte aktiviteter er avgrenser seg til bestemte  tidspunkt. Bruk av tidslås kan være egnet til å signalisere om aktiviteten er tilgjengelig eller ikke. Avreisetid til skole/jobb eller medisintid kan være eksempler på slike aktiviteter.

Points

It is possible to add points to activities. The points are stored in a bank where the administrator can approve the points, for example at a behavioral contract meeting. It is possible to use symbols (token economy) in addition to numbers (here 3) to show the number of points

Bank

Points from each individual activity (where points are activated) are added to a separate bank for approval. The bank is suitable for, e.g. evaluation meetings (cf. behavioral contracts). There is a separate login to the points bank.

Random/Dice

Dice, or random drawing, is a function that can make the plan more exiting and contribute to planned exposure for variety. The options can be visible or hidden. By hiding the options, you can use the functionality to convey a motivating surprise.

URL-Links

It is possible to link a specific url address to activities. By tapping on the screen, the website opens automatically, which helps the e-plan user to enjoy and take part in the opportunities available on the internet.

Video Call

Many people like to call family and friends but need help making such calls. Activities (or pictures of people) can be linked to phone/email. If the person clicks on the picture of the desired person, e-plan will automatically open a video call.

The function is suitable in combination with Multiple Choice

Symbol tags

Symbol marking is an opportunity to highlight or tag characteristics of an activity or a choice. The labeling is based on the same principle as "product labeling" of food in. Choose your prefered emoji to tag activities.  The function makes it possible to highlight "smart choices" or the doctor's recommendation 👩‍⚕️
